St.Mary’s Group of Institution Guntur for Women (erstwhile St.Mary’s Group of Institutions Guntur), Chebrolu was established in the year 2007 by JSMI Educational society, with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada; It was Accredited by NAAC. It is located just 12Km from Guntur and is situated in Chebrolu Mandal.

The college currently offers different programs such as Diploma, B.Tech., B.Pharmacy, M.Tech., M.Pharmacy, and MBA exclusively for girl students and is the premiere institute in South India offering all these programs with specializations in emerging areas. The college is highly reputed in the education sector for its unmatched academic and non-academic services to the students especially to those from simple, humble, and rural backgrounds who cannot afford economically for technical / professional higher education.

The lush green campus is spread over 14 acres and has open spaces like lawns, gardens, seating areas to supplement the grandeur of the environment and provide a calm and peaceful atmosphere to conduct academic and research pursuits.

The college is well known for its highly experienced and qualified teaching and non-teaching staff, state-of-the-art laboratories, sports, canteen, hostel, and transportation facilities for the students and staff. Our students are encouraged to participate in co- and extra-curricular activities and have won many prizes, awards, and rewards during inter-, intra-collegiate sports events, and technical events. With more than 3000 students in every academic year and highly qualified and experienced staff, the college serves a majority of rural and semi-rural sections of girl students and more than 700 students graduate from different programs offered here, each year. The college demonstrates well-equipped laboratories with state-of-the-art infrastructure, with more than 600 computers connected via high-speed internet facility and also there are Wi-Fi zones which are offered for free to the students and staff.

The college has six Seminar Halls with varying seating capacities. Modern digital class rooms (E-classrooms) and smart classrooms are often used during general lectures and especially for the knowledge sharing events such as guest lectures, faculty development, and student development programs, etc.
